The brief was to design a contemporary childcare facility on a tight site situated in the Fiona Stanley Hospital site to accommodate 102 children. The centre caters for childern ranging in age from 0-5 years with eight classrooms which includes two baby designated rooms. Passive solar design techniques including roof daylighting  were key features and requirements for the project. The interior design theme was inspired from nature which connected well with the outside native themed play scape. The facility includes a kitchen for meal preparation and is fully wheelchair accessible.
